Yes. For Free, Advanced, Pro, and Ultimate - you pay once and keep that tier forever with all future features included in that level. There are no renewal fees or hidden subscriptions. Enterprise is the only exception because it's a professional monthly plan for accountants.

Yes - you can upgrade at any time from within the app. All your existing groups, expenses, and data are preserved. Upgrading simply unlocks new capabilities; nothing is lost or reset.

When an Enterprise user joins a group - even as an accountant - all other members of that group automatically gain access to features they wouldn't normally have on their own tier. This includes analytics, expense reports, multi-currency, private expenses, receipt uploads, and categories. It's how accountants can serve clients on any tier without the clients needing to upgrade.

All your group data - expenses, transactions, receipts, categories - is stored exclusively in your own Google Drive. SplidIt never stores your financial data on its servers. Your tier information is held securely in an authentication token, not linked to any data on our end.

A Contributor can add and manage expenses on behalf of the group, but they are not part of the balance - they don't owe or are owed money. This is useful for assistants, coordinators, or anyone who manages logistics without being a financial participant. Contributor slots are available on Pro and above.
